For the past few years the top players from the NHL draft have instantly had a strong impact in fantasy.
2016 we obviously had Matthews and Laine.
2015 we had McDavid and Eichel
2014 we had Ekblad and Draisaitl (Reinhart coming around now, too).
Needless to say, we all expect top rookies to play a fantasy role immediately. It hasn’t really been…[Read more]

This is a weekend where lots of ppl expecting ton of away game wins. Falcons are hight and obviously Wentz is out for Philly. NO is well rounded on both sides, whereas MIN is D heavy. Everyone knows the Jags D is there strength and questions around LeVeon in Pitt. Only MAJOR upset would be TEN over NE, but if they can run the ball vs a bottom 5 D…[Read more]
I like to review scoring cats .each off season. What should be included? What should be minimized etc.? When you think about it, PPR has been exploding the past number of years, but wasn’t really a thing in early 2000s. Scoring adapted to make value for more RBs to add depth to the position.

Alosno had his breakout year at 29 years old with 28 HR between his time with OAK and SEA. Now that he’s heading to a contender like CLE, how do you like his fantasy stock for 2018? He’s projected to bat 6th behind Ramirez, Encarnacion, and Brantley.

Foles’ performance last week is exactly why you should play the guys who got you to the championship, not the backup who had a hot start the week prior. Ppl look “too” into it sometimes. Unless you had him to replace Wentz, shouldn’t have played him IMO.

Love going with Rivers this week for those who have him. Should have a big bounce back game. They are still fighting for something. Jets are officially “trying” to tank, and have given up the 3rd most fantasy points to QBs.
With a foundation cornerstone piece like Jimmy in SF, if they feel they need another 1-2 seasons to rebuild, I can see them letting Hyde walk. Improve the O line. Get a counterpart for Marquise, they could have a few pieces for next year. With Shanahan at the helm I like the passing game going into 2018.
